Welcome!
Begun more than a half century ago as a personal biographical resource centered on biology and medicine, the Erikson Biographical Institute has developed into a large, tax-exempt institute dedicated to surveying notable individuals and organizations in all fields, in every century and every country. Our extensive knowledge base grows larger each day as we research the career paths of CEOs, Guggenheim fellows, Rhodes Scholars, Heads of State, Nobel Laureates, alumni of various universities, reknowned scientists and the like.
After compiling data from our vast supply of biographical information, we then produce analytical surveys of people connected with a certain institution
-- be it an educational or research institution, a museum, a society, or a foundation -- or a geographic region. Among other things, our research services have been utilized by Human Resources to investigate candidates for university presidents or business executives. Top universities have had us trace the career paths of alumni and contribute to alumni directories.
Our research and analyses have also been applied to organizations as a whole. For example, Columbia University employed us to provide historical information for its 250th Anniversary celebration. We have also helped honorific societies write an account of their organization and membership.
A large file of testimonial letters (see Honors page) evidences the value and usefulness of our work, samples of which are on the Samples page. If you want to take a look at the extent of our database, look at the About Us page (see link below). More important than our current store of information, however, is our ability to gather and evaluate new information. If we can be of service to you, contact us (see Contact page) or go to our Services page to see what we can do for you.
